Good thing

August 2, 2010

I admit it. I have clearly forgotten about the blog. Being set in a new environment, I was still in the process of finding my ground and setting my pace. But enough of the excuses. I’ve forgotten, I am sorry, I’ll make up for it.

One cannot serve two masters, and I have proven that one cannot have two laptops. For about a year, I was maintaining two laptops, which in hindsight, dealt my life segmented. I had a file in the other laptop when I needed to work on it with this one. I had to send extra emails from work so I can access the files from home. Non-necessities. Good thing I have MacGee, and only MacGee now, which makes my work fluid and integrated.

Life does not ever go about so smoothly. I was at the seedling bank last weekend and found out that they don’t sell seeds the way I expected to buy them. But I had to make do so that trip wouldn’t be a waste. Good thing I believe that creativity is borne out of constraint. This bump / jolt of reality made me think of better ways to push Paperpod. And I also think I finally found a partner for it.

I can’t decide if I will create a traditional or hydroponic farm/garden at home. Or maybe I should try both, see which works best.
